Finishes

We use a variety of finishes here at Blue Pine Designs, Our most popular is a Pre-Catalyzed Lacquer that is very durable and comes in many sheens. We use the Dull Rub for insides of cabinets and drawer boxes. Good quality at an economical price.

We also offer water based finishes in several sheens for those looking for a green finish.

Next up is the Poly-Urethane finishes. These are great finishes when maximum durability is necessary like bar tops. Also used in hospitals because of its ability to withstand the harsher cleansers used there. These coatings come in low gloss to high gloss and when applied on top of our Polyester Sealer imported from Italy you end up with the rich, deep look that people just can’t keep their hands off of!

For more than 10 years we have applied the Marquis finish, known as the top of the line finish for Beaver Motor Coaches. I worked for them in the 90s, learned and perfected the process, and still spray for companies working on Beaver Coach cabinets needing to match their finish.

We offer stains, distressing, and glazes for a personal touch.

Blue Pine Designs specializes in creating custom living quarters for horse and recreational trailers or RV's. We use a finish process that brings out the character of the wood and is incredibly durable.

Blue Pine Designs also offers a variety of wood choices such as Juniper, Walnut, Cherry, Maple, and inlays using Mappa, Maple Burl or other woods that you would like.
